HOW TO FIND US
The Pacific Coast Highway is a most rewarding drive for the overseas traveller and the local tourist. From a stay in Tidal Waters Tauranga, travel around the East Cape. Whakatane is the last small city before travelling through the small town of Opotiki and around this beautiful coastline taking in small small beach towns such as Te Kaha, Whanarua Bay (beautiful waterfall, macadamia cafe shop), Waihau Bay, Whangaparoa, Hicks Bay, Te Araroa (Manuka honey cafe shop), Te Puia Springs (hot pools), Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and a stay at the loghouse at Waihau Beach (known by the locals as Loisels Beach).
From the loghouse, travel into Gisborne and through the Waioeka Gorge (39 kms and 1800 hectares of scenic reserve), to Opotiki and Whakatane to the cultural sights of Rotorua.
